There's no way Crab comes back this season to play. We have to hope he comes back next season and is at full strength. He's had the operation and it will be weeks before he begins rehab. This will be a tough road for him. Time to ring Ray Lewis and whip out the Antlers. Seriously, he will need every ounce of fortitude, routine, medical supplements and high paid professional help to come back from this. But it can be done. He's like a Red Shirt guy now, like Lattimore, someone we like but will have to wait until next year to see. A real shame. My heart dropped right down into my socks. Crushing blow.

There's no one else we can draft or acquire in free agency to replace him, that we can see, so the receiving corps that we have is going to have to cover. Boldin will work into the number one spot. We could use Mann and Williams to pick up the slack. The young guys who can step up, like Lockette, Jensen and Patton to step up big time and surprise, would really ease the pain. We have two tight ends that can start and two others we can take a look at.

We can move forward with this but this is a far bigger loss than losing Walker, whom is replaced by MacDonald. There's no one to replace Crab. You gotta wonder how many guaranteed first downs under pressure per game we just lost? The Packers and the Seahawks are liking this one.

No Crab is Crap!
