GT, I hope you are right about how well we do. Last year we carried 6 receivers (Crab, Manningham, Moss, Ginn, Williams, and Jenkins) and 4 TEs (Vernon, Walker, Celek, and Jennings).

Assuming we keep the same numbers, I predict the TEs will be the same with Vance MacDonald replacing Walker. The WRs is a lot tougher because we have those injuries. We know that Crab and Boldin are locks. But even if we assume Manningham and Williams will be ready to go, that leaves two openings, and my guess is H goes with the draft picks, Jenkins and Patton. However, if either Manningham or Williams can't go, then I think Lockette is the guy, and I think he might beat out Jenkins anyway. Lockette brings more speed than anyone else does, and he has a lot more upside than Chad Hall or Joe Hastings does. He won the DII National Champ's in the 200 meters and ran a 4.37 for scouts. Jenkins was almost as fast (4.39) but made no impression last year. Lockette caught two passes for Seattle in 2011, one for 44 yards, the other for 61 and a touchdown. He is a more intriguing prospect to me than Jenkins is.
