I think we are turning into a passing team again like the 49ers of old under Montana and Young. And int the NFL currently you've got Brady, Manning, Ryan and Rodgers. And then you have Kaepernick. He's up in their league and might even have the strongest and most accurate arm. He's also by far the most dangerous of any of them. We have not been at this elite status in the passing game since Young went down. Even Garcia, whom I really liked, was not really in that elite category as all the other guys I mentioned above. Now that we have Kaepernick we have become the elite passing team in the NFL bar none.

To support our newly found elite passing game status, currently we have 17 Receivers on the team, 11 Wide Receivers and 6 Tight Ends. We won't be carrying all of these on the final 53 man squad going into the regular season but it sure looks like they want lots of competition going into training camp.

Who do you guys think will make the team?

And, do you think this Receiving Corps, along with our Quarterback, lifts us into truly Elite status as a Passing Offense in the NFL coming into the 2013 season?

I predict (The Lesser Predicto) that total Passing Yards for the 49ers will be greater than any 49er season since Jeff Garcia and possibly exceeding any of his seasons (when he broke so many team records).

We are a power running game with easily the best mobile Quarterback in the game, the best since Randall Cunningham and Steve Young, and on top of that, we have arguably one of the best passing offenses in the NFL, perhaps one of the best in team history in the past decade and a half.

I am really looking forward to this season. Light up the skies!
