Rob, I like this draft a lot better than last year's, in large part because I see opportunities (partly due to FA losses) for a lot of contributing this year and some major continuity in the future. Reid will start. Carradine will get big minutes, improve the pass rush (not Ray's strong suit), and is the perfect kind of player to take over for Justin. Patton will play this year, either as our #3 or #4, and if we don't re-sign Boldin, he could be our #2 going forward. MacDonald will play good minutes and get better every year. Lattimore is a player who could make Frank's retirement not painful. Lemonier--whether Haralson comes back or not--will see time and looks to be someone who can give good rest to Aldon and Brooks. We broke down physically toward the end of the year. If we get the rotational value from these guys, especially on defense, we'll not only see less drop-off toward the end of the year, but maybe increased production overall.

We are also apparently not really interested in re-signing Larry Grant and Tavaress Gooden, so Moody could stick on STs (which is apparently what they drafted him to do).

My biggest concern is corner. Namdi is 31 and on a 1-year deal. Brown is in his contract year. Rogers will be owed over 6 million in 2014, and Culliver is a distraction. I think we need another corner at least. Of course, there are decent players available around TC, but they are generally not the kinds of guys who are long-term starters. My guess is this will be a big area of need in next year's draft.
