From SI.com:
This got kind of silly for a while. The 49ers traded up for S Eric Reid, who should replace Dashon Goldson. Then, they stole DE Tank Carradine at 40, TE Vance McDonald at 55 and WR Quinton Patton at 128. In between those picks, San Francisco also added quick DE/OLB Corey Lemonier and RB Marcus Lattimore, the latter of whom could be a star if his rehab from a catastrophic knee injury works out. Grade: A

SI.com's player grades:
San Francisco 49ers
ROUND PICK PLAYER POSITION SCHOOL GRADE
1 18 Eric Reid FS Louisiana State 7.50 (7.0-7.9: Very good starting player. Second round selection.)
2 9 Cornellius Carradine DE Florida State 8.00 (8.0-8.4: Highly productive starting player. First round selection.)
2 25 Vance McDonald TE Rice 7.30 (7.0-7.9: Very good starting player. Second round selection.)
3 26 Corey Lemonier OLB Auburn 8.00 (8.0-8.4: Highly productive starting player. First round selection.)
4 31 Quinton Patton WR Louisiana Tech 8.00 (8.0-8.4: Highly productive starting player. First round selection.)
4 34 * Marcus Lattimore RB South Carolina 5.20 (5.0-5.4: Quality backup and good special teams player. Fifth round selection.)
5 24 Quinton Dial DL Alabama 3.90 (3.9: Priority free agent.)
6 12 Nick Moody OLB Florida State 1.00 (UFA)
7 31 B.J. Daniels QB South Florida 1.00 (UFA)
7 40 * Carter Bykowski T Iowa State 1.00 (UFA)
7 46 * Marcus Cooper CB Rutgers 1.00 (UFA)

What this tells me is we basically nailed the first 6 picks. We know Lattimore only got this grade because of the injury. If he even come back to 90% of what he once
was he'll be better than any back-up we have now, and that says a lot. I think Dial is better than this. The rest are in BPA/ST player range anyway.

BTW, Patton had 21 catches against Texas A & M last year, a top 10 team with a very good defense.
