Arnold, I've felt like our receiver situations is one of the quiet big needs. If you look both short and long term, there is potential trouble. Here's what we have:

Crabtree: set here with our #1 but will need a big contract in a couple years
Boldin: great player and a 1a, but he's on a 1-year deal
Manningham: very bad injury and won't be ready until end of TC at best
Williams: a #3 who is coming off a bad injury
Jenkins: a non-entity last year whose skills have been questioned
Lockette: really fast but ?

Last year, Scouts Inc. had Jenkins with a grade of 82. Patton is an 82. Jenkins is faster. Patton was more productive.
