This is going to be an interesting draft. Maybe one of the better ones in years.

Last years draft was okay but I thought 2010 and 2011 were pretty good, yielding us 10 starters.

I am fixating on Sheldon Richardson (big trade up), LeVeon Bell (he will fall low because of the 40 times) and Honey Badger (he's a long shot to make the team, though). Keenan Allen is an impossibility unless the team wants to give up too much but that could become your new Montana to Rice combo for years to come. Zack Ertz would replace Walker. No idea why one guy has us picking Geno Smith since we already have McCoy and Tolzien.

Shot in the dark: what are the odds we are saying goodbye to some of our existing players? Some of these draft moves can involve trades. I was thinking today for some odd reason that Jenkins is trade bait for us to acquire a good draft pick. Nothing to base that on just a gut feel that randomly popped into my head. There's no way to predict what will happen but I would not be surprised to see some trades thrown in. Some of these trades may surprise us.

I am giddy with anticipation. Tonight we will acquire some big time stars with which we can build this champion. Tomorrow and Saturday we will acquire some great players that will contribute to winning championships over the next half decade. (Remember Woodall was a 6th round pick).

I predict this will be one of our best drafts.

GO NINERS!!!
