Good points. It's the Quality versus Quantity argument. We have many needs versus which player has impact now and can start. The earlier picks tend to be starters. The point of the article was our cap situation versus at what draft position we can pick up quality defensive lineman at the Justin smith level. It's all speculation now coupled with the fact that some of the great players have been later round picks. There's also the obfuscation angle in that we don't know what to believe or which draft expert has the inside line. Even Kiper is no where near 100% in their predictions. I wouldn't know either way. But that article supporting the quality argument has merit especially where he throws in the cap problem. I do see replacing Goldson as being the biggest hole to fill as well as another DT as being imperative. Should be interesting on Thursday at any rate.
