Re the schedule: I hate Goodell, but it isn't his job to think about us when he decides on when match-ups occur, besides the fact that he is hardly the (only) one making up the schedule. Face it, we sell. We now sell the most jerseys/merchandise. And that means more national games, and it means everyone wants a piece of us, especially NFLN, and the league wants to help its network. That said, I really hate that we have both a Thursday night game and a London game, especially the latter. However, on the good side, we don't lose a home game due to London, and it's against Jax, so we should be able to handle jet lag on that. And our Thursday night game is against the Rams after a home game against the Colts, so the time travel issue shouldn't be too bad, and it isn't like we're playing the Ravens on a short week like two years ago. And as important as any of this is the fact that we only play one game with a 10 AM start time, and that is against TB. Ultimately, we got about half of what we want, and the half we did get involves what the team has been lobbying for for years, which is that early start time on the east coast. On the flip side, the Seahawks have five 10:00 games and against some good teams, too (NYG, Atlanta, Houston).
