Another Nnamdi video. I like this one because it has sound. It lets you hear what Nnamdi is thinking about, talking about on the field, and what other players (receivers) are thinking about when they have to play this guy:

Has he lost a step? Maybe. But I don't think Nnamdi was ever about his lightning speed. And it does occur to me that with today's fascination with the big pass catching Tight Ends it would be great to have someone to put on those QB security blankets and take them out of the game.

While I was thinking about Nnamdi's height, length, and smarts and how they would come in handy... I started thinking about another fashion in today's offense. The "Mobile QB". From Wilson in Seattle, to RG3 in Washington we have a bunch of movers out there now, and a quick, dynamic playmaker might come in handy... so I've been watching a lot of Tyrann Mathieu (the Honey Badger) tape... He doesn't have the height, or the straight line speed you'd be after in a starting, outside corner. But against slot receivers playing the short game, or scrambling QBs... I think I'd like to have him on the team.

Yup, it's April, so I'm back to thinking Defense, first, last and in-between in the draft.
