So do we see Asomugha as a starter for one, and secondly at Cornerback? Those would be the obvious questions. After all we have Rogers, Culliver and Brown, all younger men, proven contributors, at Cornerback. We hope Asomugha can play at the level he was at before the Eagles at Cornerback, a very athletic position, usually for younger men. Since we are thin at Safety now, with the departure of Goldson, there is no doubt we have to fill that position. So is it possible that Asomugha could be moved to Safety? Many defensive backs begin their career at Cornerback and end up at Safety because they slow down and they get smarter and bulkier. So now we have four possible starting Cornerbacks and two possible starting Safeties, these being Whitner and Dahl, who we all know will definitely not start. Seems like a logical progression that Asomugha could end up at Safety. I dunno but we haven't acquired a Safety in Free Agency and the odds of starting a rookie Safety are not high I think it might be a legitimate assumption, nothing more than shot in the dark speculation, mind you. Your thoughts?
