Arnold,

I'm all for the idea of getting Victor Cruz. He's a helluva lot better than the last guy we got from them and he's not bad. I've been saying this all along, and now even with Boldin, we are thin at Wide Receiver. All the possible receivers we could have starting for us are just that, possibilities. We have guys coming off major season ending injuries. We are thin at wide receiver. I saw an NFL interview with Crab talking about his thoughts on the Boldin acquisition. He said it was a great move because "we are thin at wide receiver". We have, perhaps, the best pure passer in the game at quarterback and yet we do not have the best receiving corps in the game. Look at Green Bay and Atlanta for example and their stable of wide outs. The problem with Cruz, however, is what would it cost to get him? I see WR as a need but so is DL and secondary. We'll see what Baalke does.
