Just a quick note on the Eric Reid discussion. I like him. He's a good player. But right now Kiper has him rated as the 5th-best safety, behind Kenny Vaccaro (Texas), Matt Elam (Florida), Johnathan Cyprien (FIU), and Shamarko Thomas (Syracuse). Draft boards are going to be different across the league, but what this does tell me is that we should not rush to take him at 31 or 34. He is a player I would trade up in the 2nd to get rather than grab with one of our first two. And it looks like a number of players we like may well slide. Jesse Williams is one. The corner from NC State is definitely a 2nd-rounder, and Blidi Wreh-wilson is not in the 1st round in a number of mocks. I would be very happy if we moved up from our last pick in the 2nd to mid-2nd.
