Rob, just say no, no, and again NO to Tyrone Mathieu. He is a disaster in so many ways. First, any kid who gets kicked off a team is a question mark in my book anyway. But when he has a chance to come back and screws up again (drug use), you just don't draft him. Add to that the fact that he is a creep/thug is another strike against him. Then, if you want to ignore all that, I don't think he'll be that good a pro anyway. He's very small (5'8" or so), and his coverage skills are pretty good, but not exactly shut down, to say the least. He got a lot of press in college because he took some ints all the way in exciting fashion, but he also got beat a lot. Alabama picked on him in the championship game (and not with a receiver like Julio Jones). The one thing he might be able to do well is return kicks. He isn't going to get drafted in the first two rounds. Taking him before at least the 4th would be foolish. Some people have even said he might go undrafted. Considering how we need physical corners, Mathieu is exactly what we don't want. If you hated Culliver jawing after giving up big plays, you'll hate Mathieu even more.
