We got three compensatory picks. However, one of them was not a 3rd. I thought that would be too good to be true. But one of them is a 4th. So this year we will have:
1 1st
2 2nds
2 3rds
2 4ths (1 compensatory)
2 5th
1 6th
4 7ths (2 compensatories)

Compensatories are not tradeable. I do not want us to take a safety with one of our first two picks. I would rather we go with DLine and corner. It looks like some good corners may be slipping. Then, if necessary, we could trade up into the mid 2nd to get a safety.

BTW, you can all forget about Shariff Floyd. He has been zooming up draft boards and most are projecting him as a top 5-10 pick. But Jesse Williams and Margus Hunt might be available.

Hell, I might be happy trading that 1st in the 2nd back a few spots if it weren't too far.
