Win, I think when you look at the players we lost, it isn't at all like what is happening in Baltimore. A recap of those guys you mentioned:

Soaps: over 30 years old and played about 30% of the snaps. He is a good NT but hardly Ngata level.
Ricky Jean Francois: a career back-up who never came close to cracking the starting line-up. A solid role player. You can draft those easily.
Akers: he sucked.
Ginn: he was average to sucky
Alex: looked at coldly, you can only play one QB at a time, and we got a high 2nd rounder. The only way we will miss him is if Kap gets injured.

I agree with Kevin that the two who will be hardest to replace are Goldson and Walker. But Walker was not a starter, and 4 million a year is starter money. I am more worried about replacing Goldson. But also like Kevin said, teams lose good players every year.

And of course, the flip side is what did you gain. Dorsey is an easy replacement for Ricky Jean. Boldin upgrades the offense instantly. Basically it comes down whether we can replace Goldson, Walker, and Soaps.
