Win

Losing Justin Smith or Ray McDonald on the D-Line would have me throwing away my TV. But losing Sopoaga and Jean Francois? I'm okay there. I don't think Sopoaga ever lived up to his potential, his talent. And now he's going into his 10th year in the league. It was time to cut ties. And I would have been more upset about losing RJF if I hadn't seen what happned to the defense when he got a lot more playing time after Justin's injury. I thought he was better than that. He wasn't.

Akers, no regrets. Ginn, no regrets. Smith... for the sake of peace on the page I'll leave it at, no regrets. Moss, no regrets.

The two losses that concern me are Delanie Walker and DeSean Goldson.

But here's the thing. You're always gonna lose people. Good people. Especially if your team goes to the Super Bowl. Even if they lose. Suddenly guys who had labored in anonymity are "great players". Media darlings. Guys who can bring the "winning way" to your team.

Good teams are the ones that can replace those fellas.
