Re the draft: looking at the positions of depth in this draft, there should be some good defensive linemen and corners when we pick. I do not want to package our first two picks to move up. I'd be fine with packaging one of them (with a 3rd) to move up 5 to 10 spots to get someone, but I think there will be someone good at our positions of need without moving up. As to safety, there are frequently good safeties in middle rounds (Goldson was a 4th rounder, Thomas Decould--Pro Bowler for Atlanta--was a 3rd). In general, it's more important to get a corner early than a safety. I also think there are only a couple of safeties worth a 1st-round pick this year, and they will probably be gone when we pick. There are some good safeties, though, who will probably be available when our own pick comes due in the 2nd round.

Guys I want us to target:
DL: Jesse Williams or Margus Hunt with an early pick.
Benny Logan (DT, LSU), middle round

CB: Blidi Wre-Wilson, Xavier Rhodes, Desmond Trufant with an early pick.
Kevin, what do you know about Steve Williams out of Cal? Maybe a middle round?

Safety: Eric Reid, Matt Elam, D.J. Swearinger 2nd round or later
Baccari Rambo, 3rd or later
Robert Lester, 4th round or later

WR: Tavon Austin, DeAndre Hopkins early
Robert Woods middle
Conner Vernon, Ryan Swope later

OL: Barrett Jones 2nd or 3rd round
RB: Marcus Lattimore 3rd or later; Eddie Lacy if he slides to the 2nd; Stepfan Taylor in a middle to late round
