Safety. I have no idea what to do there. We have two of the hardest hitting safeties in the league, both in the pro ball in 2012. The problem is they have been weak in coverage and we give up big passing plays like to Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco. Its a tough one. Two pro-bowlers. You replace one of these guys and get a better cover guy but what do you give up? Its like having another set of linebackers and they're a big reason why this defense in number against the run. The solution might be to bolster the defensive line, bring in the rotation the 49ers used to have in the 80's, so you can stuff the run better and pressure the quarterback more so he can't throw down the field with confidence.

I think the problem at Safety is going to be tough to solve and they will probably keep both of them (after Goldson tests out free agency) and just change the schemes.

DL is an easier problem to solve and it just involves bringing in more bodies, but they've got to be good, better than RJF to be sure. Real pluggers who can also chase the passer. Get Justin off the field alot more often.

I think we're doing good at linebacker but I'd just like to see backups for them and to be able to spell them, rotate other guys in more often. Remember last year when Justin was out and Aldon was spent. Not good long term planning.

No idea about Safety but we have to up the ante on talent on the line and improve the depth. I think we're thin at linebacker and defensive line.

Championship defense in the fourth quarter of a playoff game is the biggest factor in winning a championship.
