Dixon was better at short yardage this season than Gerhart; a lot better. Of course, Dixon also played behind a better line...but there isn't any guarantee Gerhart would be a better short-yardage back. The only certainty is that he'd be a much better receiver out of the backfield.

I don't expect us to get Harvin, but they'd be foolish not to evaluate it. The things Roman could do with a player like that...
