You know everyone, I still have a pit in my stomach.  I still have the same sunk feeling today as I did on Sunday.  I hate the feeling of regret.  Of leaving something behind.  When I hung up the discus/hammer shoes, it was just like dropping the mic.  I was done.  Nothing left, felt satisfied of four years of grinding, lifting, blood, sweat and tears with an intrinsic satisfaction.

This game had the feeling of leaving a brother back on the battlefield.  A gnawing pain in the gut of what could have or should have.  So it will take some time to have to watch a team that scored 28points in basically the first 30 min of play only score 6 more points the second half.

Ahh learning from missed opportunities. IT SUCKS!

Now my question is how much more gnawing will occur from those who actually PLAYED the game.  AJJ has stepped up.  You know Kaep is already plotting and scheming and watching tape and starting over.  Randy Moss?  Pffft.  This is the game to me, shows who REALLY wants to shine bright for the 9ers and who is just there for the every payday.

Even though there has been some good conversation about Culliver, he looked like Antoastio (for those who remember him back in the day) and for his *@%$*#% comments, I want him just gone.  Don't care about the talent.  Whitner.  Gotta go, defensive backfield doesn't need two hard hitting safeties that can't really play coverage.  Rogers too.  We need a true cover corner not someone who can play technique until their lack of coverage skills gets exposed.

I know that I am in the minority but I haven't liked Gore for a long time.  I think a RB should be able to score if something truly opens up.  Too many times Gore has been caught and though h has the heart of a lion, he doesn't have the speed of a cheetah.  Again, that is just me.

OL, time to make a move at C.  Against the big boys Goodwin is negated.  Everyone else nice and, I am pretty pleased with Boone.

Time to give Akers the boot.  Yep.  Pun intended.

Resign Goldson and Walker.  I also think they should package up a good deal with smith and their first round and third round to KC for their top spot.  Sell it to move down a few spots, get the coveted CB that shows the best potential and then fortify.  I don't think the 9ers need a lot more picks.  Just about 8-10 quality players from the draft.

One more thing about the Smith/Kaep debate, there isn't any.  Ask yourself honestly, would Alex Smith been able to come back from 17 and 22 points to win?  I know that he wouldn't have.

Good call Harbaugh.

Now, let's get back to work!
