While the 49ers are in great shape, the Ravens are in trouble.  Not only do they already have cap problems, they have 22 free agents, most of which are starters.

They'll lose Ray Lewis to retirement, and have starters such as Joe Flacco who are free agents.  Other free agents include starting WR's Anquan Bolden and Torrey Smith.  Safety Ed Reed, CB Jimmy Smith, TE David Pitta, referee assaulter Cary Williams.  Because of so many key free agents, the size of the contract they'll have to give Flacco, and the heart and soul of the team, Ray Lewis' retirement, most progastinators don't see the Ravens as a legitimate Superbowl contender for atleast the next few years, or even a playoff conetender.
