Anthony, I agree with you on most of your points. I have said for some time now that we do not have a defense for the ages. I believe we have one of the best run defenses. We've shown that for years. And I think we have two good safeties. But our corners are average, and unless we get a lot of pass rush, we get beat for big plays. No one has mentioned how Walker was held on that last play. Take a look at it. He almost gets his helmet yanked off. Same play. I think Justin has another year in him, but he is absolutely in need of help. If we get a couple more d-linemen for the rotation, we might even get two more years out of him. But he's on borrowed time. I would pay Goldson big money. We have no safety we have been grooming, and we need to worry about corners and d-linemen in the draft, not safeties. And goodness knows the secondary would be a lot worse while trying to break in a new free safety. If the corners are struggling now, think about what it would be like to have a rookie corner with an inexperienced FS.

"Goal line stand." I wondered what they were talking about. The 5 is not the goal line. A goal line stand to me means you have to have at least two plays run from the 2 or closer.

On the one hand I agree with you about Kap's completion %. However, it was 57% for the game, which is not bad, and if those two deep balls were caught, it would have been 64%, which is quite good. If even one of them had been caught, it would have been 60.7%. And then look at the incompletions. The two drops we have all talked about. The last play of the game hold. The 2nd down pass where the defender came over the top early. I can only think of a couple of plays where he was not accurate. The int, of course, and that throw over Crab's head on the goal line early in the game.
