Mo, so you think getting 2 on 1st down inside the 10 is a disaster? Part of the problem for a lot of people is that if we got 2 each play we'd score. I am not trying to start a fight, either. But I also don't buy the "didn't deserve to win" arguments, either. Sure, on the one hand, we didn't play well enough in the first half to win. But it's also important to remember that football is two halves, and playing a lousy 31 minutes doesn't mean the refs don't owe you a well-called game. Why is it that when they "beat" us 28-6 for 30 minutes they deserve to win, but when we "beat" them 25-6 for 30 minutes we don't? Why do we deserve to lose and they don't? I don't buy that argument. By that logic, no team deserves to make a comeback and shouldn't complain if the refs blow an important call that keeps them from doing it.

Ultimately, any game can come down to the "shouldn't have put yourself in that position" argument. Like being behind means the rules don't matter. If the rules meant so much to you, you should have had a big lead so you wouldn't have to worry about the rules.

So it was Green Bay's fault for being in a close game against the Seahawks when the refs blew the call in the end zone. So whenever it is a close game, it isn't the refs' fault if they get the calls wrong. That's an entitlement argument. And goodness knows, trailing teams certainly don't have a right to complain about big calls in the biggest game of the year.
