GT, I think Goldson's firing Rosenhaus might be a good sign, not a bad one. Rosenhaus has not been able to negotiate a deal with the 49ers for two years now. It's not new that Goldson wants big money, and it isn't news for any player to not want to be tagged. They hate it. And everyone knows Goldson is going to be paid big money by someone. The question is whether we can get in the same ballpark. That is one reason Alex will be released. We need the cap space to have a chance. I would not write off Goldson just yet.
