Mobay-  I agree.  The playcalling was very suspect there at the very end.  I was saying the same thing on that final drive to my family.  This is Kaep's "Montana Moment" ala Superbowl 23.  And he almost pulled it off.  They really should have tried to run it, or atleast go to another receiver not named Crabtree.  They were double covering Crab.  But what can you do?

I know you didn't say fire Roman.  I was asking you if you thought they should fire him over his play calls?

I just can't agree with those who feel the team has missed it's window, and will start to fade.  This team is stacked, and their future is very bright.  And this is not just my opinion and observations.  Every one of the tv analyst, and media guys say the same thing.  These are the guys who have been players, coaches, and GM's in the NFL as well as the writers and broadcasters who have access to the teams and players.  I respect everyone here, and there are some knowledgable fans, but we are not on their level.  I've got to side with them on this.  This team is going to be competitive for a long time.

We are stacked on offense.  We have a very good offensive line.  We have an elite QB.  We have an awesome stable of running backs.  And we have a very good group of pass catchers between the WR's and TE's.

We need more depth on defense, but most of our starters are very good, and young.  I would part ways with Carlos Rogers, and Donte Whitner.  There's no reason they'll let Dashon Goldson go.  They'll just franchise him again if necessary.  I'd also look at bringing in one of the top CB's in free agency.

A few tweeks is all we need.
