Win, Excellent article! I love those guys. Sheer genius. The first album was a brilliant masterpiece, half acoustic and half Moogs. The second album, Tarkus, is a work of art. The live album, Pictures at an Exhibition, based on Mussorgsky's Symphony, is a joy to listen to. And they rattled off many more brilliant albums. They influenced Yes and Rush, Gentle Giant and Jethro Tull, and dozens of other bands. There is a mention of Kieth Emerson's Auto Biography in that article. I really should pick it up. I should also mention that Robert Fripp and King Crimson influenced ELP and that is where Greg Lake came from.
