Normally i watch sports on the basement TV, a 65 inch older model but with a nice HD picture. I have surround sound for that, but it's a twelve year old audio system. Sound isn't a big issue with me, but I do like the surround factor. But For this kind of special event event I might try hooking up my cable box/PVR to the projector two rooms away and watch in the theatre room with a 110 inch picture. But when we finished the basement we had the dumbest electricians imaginable. I asked for specific things, but they misconstrued my instructions. So I have to go through a really awkward process of hooking up a 25 foot long HDMI cable, stringing multiple stereo cords together, moving furniture and hooking things up to a different sound system. And then, the room has to be dark. The process is awkward, so I'll probably stick to the TV system. But after they win, I'm sure a DVD/Bluray disc will be put out by NFL films. That I will enjoy on the projector. I don't usually mind watching sports with other people, but something as special as this is I want to be able devote total attention. It's not a social event with the game in the background. It's immersive drama played out on the field and in the mind.
