Kevin, those comments of Nate Clements set me thinking about our three top cornerbacks, Rogers, Brown and Culliver and the thing that occurs to me is that I have never associated any of them with "banging at the line." Not to say they are not all fighters down the field, or that they aren't tough tacklers, but I can't remember ever seeing any of them play up to the line on a consistent basis.

GT, that list is kind of like choosing Super Bowl QBs who had the best hair. It's great fun to watch athletic QBs, no question, but athleticism has never had a high correlation with winning in Super Bowls. That said, it's a pity Randall Cunningham never made it to a Super Bowl. He would have owned that list. Remember, Cunningham once punted the ball 91 yards in an NFL game, and in another threw the ball 60 yards from his end zone for a 95-yard TD. And on top of the pure yardage he gained on the field with his legs, he was a man who could literally hurdle over the top of other players to get where he wanted to go. The Ultimate Weapon, and with Johnny Unitas, the only player to win the MVP of the Year award three times - in Cunningham's case the third time came after a one-year retirement. I would love to see Colin K approach that level of entertaining heroics - he has many playing years in front of him, so hopefully he will.
