Shores, I agree about Manning v. Kap. The zone-read would be purely abstract with Manning at QB. And for the future it is much more important for Kap to get the starts. I did not realize he is 25. He's a mature dude. If he didn't start now, you'd be looking at a Brandon Wheedon situation in a few years. And he is clearly the real deal. Everyone talks about his speed and running ability, and for good reason, but what I care about most is his arm. This is no Bobby Douglass. His passes are generally very accurate, and he has a nice touch on the balls he has to. He makes all the different throws. And he throws receivers open. And I don't know if y'all feel the same way or not, but I feel hopeful when the ball leaves his hand, rather than tense. I still feel some anxiety, but not like a used to. He has the most 20+ yard throws of anyone in the league in the time he started going forward, and most of those went 20 in the air. We will have a very explosive offense going forward, especially if we can get a receiver opposite Crab.
