Klaus, interesting issue of Kap were to go down. I don't think Alex really does the read option. At least, we didn't have him do it when he started. I would hope they wouldn't try to force it. I think that would spell disaster. But hopefully we never find out. Interesting question about drafting. I don't know what Tolzien can do, but as I recall he was more of a pocket passer. But if we indeed end up with 11 picks I would think taking someone in a middle round who can do it would be a good move. But this is a really weak quarterback class. However, just mulling it, what about Denard Robinson? He will enter the draft as a wide receiver, but we have seen him run the r-o and scramble unbelievably, so a guy like that might be a terrific back-up plan. He's such a great athlete he might well develop into a really good receiver, another position of need.

When I look at Seattle and the division I see a lot of work to do. Those guys are only going to get better. If we are better, it is by only a smidge. (Nick Saban was asked about all of the dynasty, and he pointed out they were about 5 yards away from not even being in the title game. You just can't stop improving.) I don't know what players Seattle will lose, but we need to bring back our top guys and bring in some new talent. We definitely need to improve the D-line rotation so we are fresher. We need another corner. We need another pass catcher or two. Those are the top needs as far as I can see. We'll get Hunter back, and James has played well and offers some things Frank and Hunter don't. And if we add a more powerful back, someone more like Frank but better than Dixon, all the better.
