Long term issues:

Whith this read option, quick strike offense ...

How much of yesterday's game plan would we have been able to run with Alex, if Kaep had gotten injured (heaven forbid)?
Generally, I don't think anyone has a better 1-2 QB situation than we do, but it is a problem if your #2 QB has a vastly different skill set then the #1. Now, Alex is quite athlethic, but can he do the read option? How about Tolzien?
As we are almost certainly losing Alex, should we draft a QB that can run the read option?

Yesterday's game was the opposite as we dominated TOP 2:1, but with Kaep, there is a lot of potential for quick strike TDs. This could mean a lot of possessions/snaps for the D. I think we need to change the no rotation approach esp. on the DL and get something going like the NYGiants. We probably need to invest some draft picks there.
