What a crazy weekend of games.

I wanted Atlanta to win, but not decisively. So near halftime I was hoping Seattle would score and make it tougher on the Falcons. But no way I wanted a real comeback. So what happened put me on a roller coaster of reactions, trying to calculate the pros and cons of each situation.

Had Seattle hung on, they would have been a monster to face. That Wilson is such a clutch player. And if they would have come to San Francisco with two road playoff wins, all bets are off. And give Atlanta credit. Amidst a historically equalizing collapse they moved down to get the field goal in under thirty seconds. And even then they still almost gave it away with a weird squib kick.

But now that it's over, time to think about next week.

Ryan looks far less dangerous than Wilson or Rodgers. Their running game looked good, but has been inconsistent all year. Very good receivers. The defense appears very beatable. Home field certainly won't intimidate the Niners.

Bradshaw just said the Niners should be big favorites. But .... Let's hope the 'two wins then a loss' doesn't continue. Atlanta is sighing breaths of relief. The Niners are steamrolling on all cylinders.
