I've lived in Colorado for over 21 years now.  Though I was not born here, it has become my hometown, and I like this state.  Growing up a military brat, the family moved every few years.  By the time I was 19, I had spent nearly half my life living in Germany.  Having now spent so much of my time in Colorado, the Denver Broncos have become my second favorite NFL team behind our 49ers.  Or as I like to call them, my favorite AFC team.  Yesterdays loss by the Broncos comes as a shock.  I don't think anyone in the state expected to lose.  They had pretty much punched their tickets to the Superbowl.  Just goes to show that anything can happen in todays NFL, and the teams are much more evenly matched than in era's past.  I haven't been out and about since the Broncos loss, but I'm sure the collective psyche' of the state is going to be somewhat depressing.  I'll notice it clearly at work, where my co-workers will undoubtedly be down.  What I don't like are these fans who are already making comments about Tim Tebow, and how they would have been better off if Tebow was still the Broncos QB.  Afterall, he won a playoff game last year.  Deion Sanders was talking about it on his show, and how ridiculous a statement it is.  Tebow will be lucky to be on an NFL roster next season.  He'll likely be coaching on the college level, or playing in the CFL.
