Arnold, I prefer what we have now. Even with the size and speed of the players now, they manage to find creases, and the added space would give too much advantage to the offense. I like scoring, but a game that became a series of 50-yard runs would end up becoming boring, too.

It is no surprise that FSU dominated Northern Illinois tonight, though the Huskies hung in there for a while. The real travesty participant in the BCS bowl games, though, was Wisconsin. An unranked 8-5 team that would not have even been in its own conference championship game except two teams ahead of them were ineligible--just ridiculous. I was very glad that Stanford won that game. So far, the conference records:

SEC: 3-2
Pac 10: 3-4
Big 10: 2-6
Big 12: 4-2
ACC: 4-2
Big East: 2-1

Not a ton of surprises and a lot of close games, which is what I always hope for during bowl season. A whipping like Oklahoma State put on Purdue is just dull.
