Hmmm. I was under the impression that Michael Crabtree had become Kaepernick's "security blanket" when it came to picking up third downs. I could be wrong.

As to going after running backs... I do find myself questioning how much Frank has left. He has another year left on his contract, and it sure would be nice to see him get up to the 10,000 mark. But he does look slower to me these days.

I'd be pretty happy with LaMichael James and Anthony Dixon sharing the load next season... hoping to see Kendall Hunter make his way back. Hunter's injury was an Achilles tendon tear from what I understand, and recovery times tend to vary with injuries like that.

My two areas of need on the team (for next season) are still D-Line and WR.
