One other note. If you take Alex's record as a starter this year and project it over the course of a season, ignoring the tie, we would finish 12-4. (If you count the tie, it's 11-4-1.) If we grant Kap a win over Arizona (please don't let this be a jinx), we will finish 11-4-1. Basically the same.

Big concern: injures. Manningham is out for the year, and I worry about it being career-ending. (And did y'all notice that he got hurt with a defender engaging him up top and the other defender going for his knees? Basically the same cut block defenders have screamed about for years--and for good reason. Seattle is just not an incredibly clean team.) We already have Williams out. Justin Smith's absence is unbelievably noticeable, and I doubt Aldon will match the sack record in part because of it. And we don't know whether Vernon will be out or for how long. Just his presence on the field helps the wides.

I suspect we will see more of Walker. Kap seems to be throwing to him a fair amount anyway. Jenkins will obviously get some snaps, and maybe we can get an inkling of what he can do. But those injuries are a real concern.
