Arnold, I used to love the Phil Silvers show. That entire Catskills/Vaudville scene was what drove Hollywood for decades and the first TV shows like Sid Caesar who had great writers like Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, even Neil Simon. I think even the early SNL was influenced by these early TV shows. Vegas also became a place where the early great comics could hang and perform at some of the places that I don't think exist anymore like the Sands and the Dunes, places my Dad took me to as a kid, driving in from LA. I just noticed your avatar photo and that's a great memory for me.
